1 of 7: The crossed circle represents a single number, but you can't see it as the display is closed.
2 of 7: You can't open the display, so find another way to get that number.
3 of 7: If you let drop some balls from the silo, the display will give a red light at that number (read ahead if it doesn't).
4 of 7: Look for other appearances of that sign.
5 of 7: In the room to the northeast, it appears on a panel of a single digit.
6 of 7: The number of the crossed circle is randomly generated between 1 and 9, so to make sure you get the response; make sure that at least 9 balls fall.
7 of 7: Press the button on the left panel until a number is displayed whose digit sum is greater than or equal to 9.
