Rhem 4 Hints
General Hints
This is a game of thoughts not of actions. There is no single puzzle that needs a complicated order of clicks at the right time. Nevertheless some hints to puzzles are given by displaying special sequences, so keep your eyes open, so as not to miss them.
Most of the puzzles have a set solution, but there are a few where the solution and corresponding clues within the game are randomly generated, and what makes the thing worse: in most of these cases showing the clue a second time will reset the puzzle and generate a new one. Therefore I can't give the final solution to every puzzle, but I tried to point out these puzzle-clue constellations, and hope you write down the clue.
There are absolutely no dead ends in this game, so you can't do anything wrong that will mess up the whole game. The worst thing that can happen is that you have to walk a long way to reset a single puzzle that you just messed up. Saving from time to time is recommended, but it's not necessary to do too often.
Whenever you see something that you can't relate to an actual puzzle, write it down. Most of the time it's important later and you'll save a lot of walking. Also, whenever possible, take a shot of the scene into your notebook. The game displays a book with a + sign when you can take a shot.
Knut Müller restrained himself this time from those "walk miles and miles just to see the back side of a closed door"-puzzles, but nevertheless, there are still some puzzles where the hints are located on walls or ceilings that a gamer would normally not look at. So whenever you see the cursor change to look up, look down or zoom in, then keep your pencil ready...
