What can I do with the grass trimmer in Malcolm's workshop?
1 of 11: You're going to need to get the thing working so that you can remove the cutter. You'll need it later. That's the purpose of this little puzzle.
2 of 11: You'll find a hint on how the trimmer works inside Malcolm's study on the ground floor of the house.
3 of 11: It says on the note on the leaflet in the to-do list that the oil needs to be at a ratio of 20:1.
4 of 11: So, in the workshop, pick up the oil measuring flask from the shelf.
5 of 11: You're going to need to work out the right levels of oil and petrol to make the trimmer start.
6 of 11: First off, take the cap off the trimmer so we can pour anything into it.
7 of 11: Now, use the flask once on the oil barrel and pour that into the trimmer.
8 of 11: Now repeat the process with the petrol to make the correct ratio.
9 of 11: The ratio is 20:1, and reading the measurements on the flask you can see that there would need to be five times as much petrol as oil.
10 of 11: So, after pouring in one flask of oil, pour in five flasks of petrol.
11 of 11: Now close the cap and pull the handle on top of the trimmer. This will enable you to take the cutter.
