Technical Tip
The Case of Rose Tattoo was designed to run in MS-DOS. It can be run from Windows95, but you may have problems. If the "Readme" file does not help your problem, play the game from DOS. Do not try to play Rose Tattoo from within earlier versions of Windows.
I encountered a problem several times while playing in Windows95. It occurred when I attempted to show an inventory item to someone or view an object for the first time. The game dumped to my desktop unexpectedly. I was successful restarting my system in DOS mode and playing the game from there. In either DOS or Windows95, I had no problems saving or loading games.
