Riddle of the Sphinx Hints
How do I use the clue?
of 11: Look at the head of the room -- inside a small alcove, directly beneath the large wheel.
of 11: What do you notice about this miniature version of Sobek's Archway?
of 11: Notice the stones that are inset from the others.
of 11: You will need to press the correct stones in the correct order to gain access to the Archway.
of 11: When the stones are numbered from left to right (clockwise), you'll need to press the following stones -- 3, 7, 9, 12, 18, 20 -- in some order.
of 11: Use the Archway scroll to determine in what order to press the stones.
of 11: Find the location of each of the inset stones on the scroll and mark down the corresponding numbers shown on the scroll.
of 11: Organize the numbers into order, from the smallest number to the largest.
of 11: The resultant order will tell you which stones to press in which order.
of 11: The correct order is as follows: 12, 18, 20, 9, 3, 7.
of 11: When the last number is pressed, the door will turn. Be prepared to click on the opening quickly, as Sobek turns, in order to pass through the doorway.
