Riddle of the Sphinx Hints

I have the three clues, now what do I do?

  • 1 of 11: Carefully examine the three diagrams at the top of the statues.
  • 2 of 11: Have you seen these symbols anywhere else?
  • 3 of 11: Similar symbols may be found on the Ra scroll.
  • 4 of 11: Find the three diagrams (from the statues) on the scroll.
  • 5 of 11: The scroll has four columns: the two on the left are symbols, the two on the right are animal pictures.
  • 6 of 11: The trick is to match up the symbols on the left with the pictures on the right.
  • 7 of 11: Look for each of the three symbols on the scroll.
  • 8 of 11: You won't be able to find the exact symbol, but you'll find its mirror image.
  • 9 of 11: To match the three symbols to the three animal pictures, find the animal picture on the right that corresponds to the same position in the column as the symbol on the left.
  • 10 of 11: Remember, the symbols on the scroll are the mirror image of the symbols from the Cliff Statues.
  • 11 of 11: Apply the same mirror image principal when matching symbols to animals -- i.e.: outside column to outside column, and inside column to inside column.
