Riddle of the Sphinx Hints

How do I solve the puzzle?

  • 1 of 11: You cannot solve this puzzle until later in the game.
  • 2 of 11: Return after visiting The Great Pyramid of Cheops.
  • 3 of 11: If you have completely traversed the Great Pyramid of Cheops, and solved all of its puzzles, you will have some items in your inventory that will be needed to solve the Riddle and open the Sphinx.
  • 4 of 11: While at the Pyramid of Cheops, did you reach the Sacred Pool?
  • 5 of 11: What did you find at the end of the 6 passages beneath the Sacred Pool?
  • 6 of 11: Take the 6 golden keys retrieved from beneath the Sacred Pool, and apply them to the 6 points on the Riddle.
  • 7 of 11: Use the Sacred Scroll and the 6 scrolls from the Golden Pyramid to determine which key goes where.
  • 8 of 11: Each of the six scrolls from the Golden Pyramid has a symbol and a picture.
  • 9 of 11: Since each key is identified by a picture, it's possible to use the information from the six scrolls to match each key to a symbol.
  • 10 of 11: Now use the symbols shown on the Sacred Scroll to determine the correct placement of the keys in the Riddle.
  • 11 of 11: When inserted properly, the door will change to a star viewer.
