Riddle of the Sphinx Hints

I can't figure out what to do with this equipment.

  • 1 of 21: The Cheoptronic has been devised as an aid to exploring some of the remote areas of the Great Pyramid.
  • 2 of 21: There should be some instructions, or something to tell you about the equipment.
  • 3 of 21: Read through the journal on the desk.
  • 4 of 21: Play around with the equipment on the desk.
  • 5 of 21: Press the three power buttons down the left side of the main unit.
  • 6 of 21: Try the numbered buttons near the bottom of the equipment.
  • 7 of 21: Buttons #2, 3, 4, 6, and 12 will bring up entries which describe how to operate the equipment.
  • 8 of 21: Look through the available libraries.
  • 9 of 21: Select Library 1 -- libraries 2-5 don't work.
  • 10 of 21: Look around the room for the rest of the equipment.
  • 11 of 21: Pick up the Cheoptronic from the stack of boxes.  (The Cheoptronic is a small robotic car.)
  • 12 of 21: Where might this be used?  Where could it fit?
  • 13 of 21: There is a clue in the journal on the desk.
  • 14 of 21: Notice the hole in the wall, by the desk.
  • 15 of 21: Place the Cheoptronic in the hole.
  • 16 of 21: Use the equipment control panel to "drive" the Cheoptronic.
  • 17 of 21: Push the "Forward/Backward" toggle switch to the "Forward" position to drive the Cheoptronic.
  • 18 of 21: If you get stuck, try the Aux 1 or the Aux 2 controls to continue.  It's a l-o-n-g drive!
  • 19 of 21: Keep going until you reach a wall.  This is Gatenbrink's door.
  • 20 of 21: Notice the message on the control panel.
  • 21 of 21: You'll need a code to continue.
