Rise of the Triad: Dark War Hints
Tips and tactics
Whatever you learned about playing one-player ROTT, forget it when you play Comm-Bat. Your opponent is quicker, stronger, has better weapons and (hopefully) smarter than the enemies you'd fight in one-player.
Finding missile weapons is a priority in multi-player, because those pistols aren't going to do much to your opponents. Remember that, in one-player, if you fired your MP-40 rapidly at an enemy, they would be too busy bleeding to attack? Well, that doesn't apply here.
Running is good, as you long as you remember to strafe (it makes you harder to hit). If you are unarmed, run to find a weapon, turn, then *BLAM* turn him/her into a pile of mush.
Know the level layout, so you can find weapons, power-ups, and secret passages quickly. However, once you trigger a secret door, your opponent can find it too. You can play all of the Comm-Bat levels in one-player to test things out.
For general multi-player hits, that's about it. Play it, and try to formulate your own strategies. Much of it relies on who you're fighting against. Good luck!
