Choosing your character
Honestly, choosing a character doesn't do much in one player mode. In multi-player, it has a slightly more important effect on the game. Basically, Doug Wendt is the best choice: he has the most hit points (if you're playing HP by character) and he blends into dark areas. If you pick black as your team color, you're even better! If you aren't playing by HP, Lorelei Ni is the best. She's quick and accurate. Still, character choice doesn't have a greatly profound effect on the game, so feel free to pick who you want (the previous are just recommendations).
