Road to India Hints
How can I get an orange?
of 12: A tree full of ripe oranges can be found on one end of the walkway. The oranges are too high for Fred to reach, though.
of 12: You will find two objects while exploring the walkways and grounds. Both of them will be needed to get an orange from the tree.
of 12: Did you notice you could walk to one side of the puzzle-locked door?
of 12: A strange object sits in an alcove that can be reached by walking to your right from the door. It looks like two red sticks tied together with some twine.
of 12: Be sure to wander down near the elephant yard.
of 12: Above the yard, at the end of the brickyard, find a rope.
of 12: When you have both the rope and the red sticks, return to the fruit tree.
of 12: Climbing up into the tree with the rope alone would be the American way. When in India, do as the Indians do.
of 12: Charm your way up.
of 12: The red stick and twine object is a musical instrument, even though you aren't told so.
of 12: Place the rope on the ground. Use the red stick and twine flute on the rope. It magically climbs, like a snake, up into the tree.
of 12: Click on the rope to climb and pick an orange.
