How can I get through the lotus pond maze?
1 of 6: Listen. Do you hear the tinkling of windchimes?
2 of 6: If you have good balance on your computer speakers, you may be able to tell which direction to turn by listening to the windchimes. (This works really well if you wear headphones.)
3 of 6: The positions of the rooms do not remain the same, so if you take a wrong turn, you may find yourself back at the spiral staircase.
4 of 6: There is only one path through the maze. Luckily, in addition to the windchimes, there is even more help. After about five minutes of real time, a little rat will wander into your room. Watch what he does.
5 of 6: He will stand on his hind legs and squeak in front of an opening. Go through that opening each time. Once he starts to appear, he will join you in every room where you must make a direction choice. (He doesn't appear in the rooms with only 2 exits.)
