The Direct Approach
1 of 19: The direct approach is to fight back.
2 of 19: You'll need to fashion some kind of weapon -- but one that will just scare them away, not hurt any of them. (Isn't Mina a softy?)
3 of 19: What kind of weapon could reach that far?
4 of 19: Nothing explosive, that's for sure.
5 of 19: Mina can't throw a rock that far, either.
6 of 19: At least, not under her own strength.
7 of 19: But maybe she could, with a little help.
8 of 19: Such as a slingshot.
9 of 19: What could we use to devise a slingshot?
10 of 19: Let's start with the base -- a forked stick should do nicely.
13 of 19: Fortunately, the rubber goes into your inventory in both bands and pellets! How convenient.
14 of 19: Combine the rubber with the forked stick to get a usable slingshot.
15 of 19: Now it's time to play "Whack-a-Monkey". This is going to take some practice -- and patience.
16 of 19: Use the slingshot in the direction of the monkeys. Sight on a monkey using the cross-hairs.
17 of 19: You may have to work on your aim, and try it a few times. Don't worry -- you won't run out of pellets.
18 of 19: Watch the meter at the top of the screen. That indicates the "tenacity" of the monkeys. The more you hit, the lower it will go. But it will continue to rise if you don't shoot back at them.
19 of 19: Keep at it until the green bar lowers, and the monkeys will decide to leave well enough alone, and go find something else to do.
