Navigating the Island
There are three main areas you will be exploring while playing the game. One is the beach area where the game starts. Another is the main island itself. And the last is Granite House -- a remnant of the original occupants of this island, from the Jules Verne story The Mysterious Island.
The beach and Granite House are not quite as clearly laid out as the island itself. Once you begin exploring the main paths of the island, though, you will find that the paths are laid out in a fairly regular grid. This makes it easy to navigate the island.
It would be a good suggestion, as you explore the island paths, to draw a simple grid-map, noting highlights along the way, so that it will be easy to move from one point to another, without getting lost.
