Where am I supposed to go, once I'm past the cage?

1 of 4: There are two ways that you will eventually wish to go.
2 of 4:
One is on the far side of the room, but it is currently unreachable, due to a missing section of floor.
- How do I get to the door on the far side, with the flashing red light?
3 of 4: There is a second path around the left side of the room.
4 of 4: If you take the left path, you will get to a stairway that descends to Captain Nemo's Quarters.
