Where can I get a knife?

  • 1 of 7: You won't find one just lying about on the island.
  • 2 of 7: As with many other items in the game, you'll need to fashion one out of raw materials.
  • 3 of 7: There are at least two ways to create a knife.  Both require the same concept -- obtaining some metal, and sharpening it to a point.
  • 4 of 7: Two possible sources for the metal include a metal plaque, and a rusty piece of metal.
  • 5 of 7: In either case, once you have the piece of metal, you'll need to sharpen it.
  • 6 of 7: You can sharpen either piece of metal into a knife by rubbing it on (combining it with) the sandstone in inventory.
  • 7 of 7: If you have not collected it yet, you can find the sandstone on the ground, near the small cave with signs of a fire inside of it.
