How can I get past the snake on the path?
1 of 10: You have two options regarding controlling the snake.
2 of 10: One is to simply pin him down (either temporarily or permanently).
3 of 10: The other is to capture him.
4 of 10: You'll need to find a way to hold him still, so he won't strike you.
5 of 10: Pinning his head down should work nicely.
6 of 10: There are a couple of items you can use to pin his head down. Both are of the "fork" variety.
7 of 10: One is a forked stick, which can be found near the pile of logs originally blocking Mina's access to the remainder of the island.
8 of 10: Another is a wooden fork, which can be found along one of the paths near the windmill.
9 of 10: Use either one on the snake to pin his head down, and make it safe to explore the area round the snake.
10 of 10: Capturing him is a more difficult task -- although you will need to do it at some point.
