Return To Mysterious Island 2: Mina's Fate Hints
How can I make some water containers?
of 11: You're actually going to be making pottery.
of 11: You're going to need to find some clay.
of 11: There's some at the muddy lake, it's on the left shore. Grab it.
of 11: Now, use it on the rotating wheel on the table at the workshop (where Jep met Amber earlier).
of 11: You'll need to wet your hands in the water basin to the left of the wheel.
of 11: Take some clay from the other side, and click the wheel to spin it.
of 11: You can make different shapes by pushing in the top, middle, or bottom of the pot. For example, a pot with a V shape would require you to push in the bottom, or a pot with a Y shape would require you to push in the middle and bottom.
of 11: You can make a total of twelve shapes by pushing in the: middle, top, bottom, top/bottom, top/middle, middle/bottom.
of 11: Now, once they're made, we need to burn the buggery out of 'em in a fire (or a kiln... see where I'm going with this) to harden them.
of 11: You're going to need to start a fire in the kiln before it'll cook anything, however.
of 11: Now, one at a time, place your pots in the furnace. Once they start becoming lighter in color, the hand cursor will close for a second. That's the point you need to take it out. If you leave it too long, it'll over-harden, and crack. And a cracked pot holds no water, apparently.
