How can I appeal to the mother monkey?
1 of 6: You're going to need to save her baby.
2 of 6: Now that you have the rope, this shouldn't be a problem.
3 of 6: Cross the chasm as Jep, and speak with the mother. She's pointing at her baby who's stranded on a pole in the lava.
4 of 6: Climb up the broken wall and throw your hope onto the pole the baby monkey's clinging to.
5 of 6: The baby monkey will then be taken by Jep.
6 of 6: Take it back to its mother, and she will turn her friendship bar green.
