How can I appeal to Amber?
1 of 14: Head to the sawmill, and use what should be the last of your 21-foot poles (you can always go cut down another tree to make more) to cross over the brambles here.
2 of 14: Grab some trulca if you want some food -- Mina can eat it too.
3 of 14: Look up, and Jep sees Amber -- with, oh, ugh... Slugger. Typical. The hot monkeys always go for the jocks/ ;)
4 of 14: Climb on up there, and don't let him intimidate you. We can scare him.
5 of 14: Talking to him, pacifying, grooming, all of that? Won't work. We need to scare him.
6 of 14: You have two choices here -- there's an empty snakeskin near the muddy lake, or a can of green paint near the face on the cliff of the inlet.
7 of 14: Use either of them -- ha, VENGEANCE!!
8 of 14: Once he's gone, look inside that hole in the wall. You can take some gardenia, and enameled vase. Amber seems to like them, doesn't she?
9 of 14: We're going to need to make six more vases in the same way as before -- molding them, shaping them, and putting them in the kiln.
10 of 14: You need to make two of each type, so twelve in total. Paint them all with the turquoise paintbrush before you fire 'em.
11 of 14: You should also make her a necklace using some shellfish, which can be picked up from various places near water on the island, then cutting it with your knife, and placing it on a cord (which you can make by combining the knife and spool of string).
12 of 14: You can also groom her to raise her happiness bar. Or, give her some gardenia, some austral thyme, as well as all of the vases, and the necklace.
13 of 14: You can also play your ocarina for her. Amber will whistle a tune, and you need to play it back to her. This'll happen a couple of times but it's very simple, so don't worry.
14 of 14: After doing all of these things, she should now be friendly enough with you.
