How do I open the pods?
1 of 11: Perhaps you could find a tool with which you can cut them open.
2 of 11: One character in the area probably used a sharp tool in his/her profession.
3 of 11: Note the choice of the word "used".
4 of 11: Go back to the sheriff's office, and take a look in the doctor's briefcase. You'll get a scalpel.
5 of 11: Try using the scalpel on the pods. It won't work
6 of 11: Perhaps you could do something to make the scalpel better at cutting things.
7 of 11: Heating it up might work.
8 of 11: You now have access to a fire that wasn't available in previous chapters.
9 of 11: There's a fireplace in the hotel (Sushi's place of residence).
