Runaway: A Road Adventure Hints
How do I get an iced mocha?
of 18: There's a coffee machine in the hallway outside. Unfortunately, it's out of coffee. Try getting it fixed.
of 18: There's someone nearby who is responsible for things like keeping the coffee machine stocked.
of 18: Talk to Willy, the janitor, about the machine. He'll tell you that there's no coffee left in the storeroom. (Note: this dialogue option only becomes available after you've actually examined the coffee machine.)
of 18: If you can produce some coffee for him, he'd probably be willing to put it in the machine.
of 18: Or at least, something that looks like coffee. Search around the museum a bit.
of 18: There's a bowl of "something that looks like coffee" sitting at the feet of the statue in the middle of the mayan exhibit room. (Note: Brian will only notice this bowl after Dr. Olivaw has demanded her mocha.)
of 18: If you try and give the bowl to Willy as-is, he'll tell you that they have to be ground up.
of 18: Perhaps you could borrow a tool from someone that will help you.
of 18: Something that was previously being used for grinding things.
of 18: Dr. Olivaw has an electric lathe sitting on her desk. Use it on the coffee beans.
of 18: Willy still won't use it, though, because it looks so unfamiliar. Perhaps you could present it to him in a different way.
of 18: Maybe you could spruce it up with different packaging.
of 18: Ideally, you could put it in the packaging that Willy's used to seeing.
of 18: When Willy usually adds a package of coffee to the machine, where do you think he'd put it?
of 18: Check the trash can next to the coffee machine. Brian will find an empty package of coffee inside. (Note: Brian won't notice anything interesting in the can until you've talked to Willy about coffee.)
of 18: Use the package with your homemade coffee grounds.
of 18: Give the package to Willy. He'll be more than happy to take your coffee and fill the machine.
of 18: "Use" the coffee machine, and you'll get your iced mocha.
