Runaway: A Road Adventure Hints
How do I restore power to the voice recorder?
of 11: Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any extra batteries lying around. (Willy has some in his walkman, but refuses to share them with Brian.) Maybe you can get a little more juice from the one you've already got.
of 11: There's a real-life trick you might know of that makes batteries last longer.
of 11: Cooling them will usually do the trick.
of 11: You should find something around the museum that makes things REALLY cold.
of 11: Take a look at the tank of liquid nitrogen at the right end of the analysis lab. Brian will point out that it can cool things to very low temperatures. This is exactly what you need.
of 11: You can't just put the battery in with your bare hands, though.
of 11: Fortunately, there's a tool sitting nearby that you can use.
of 11: Notice the ladle sitting next to the liquid nitrogen.
of 11: Take the ladle, and put the battery in it.
of 11: Put the ladle (with battery) into the liquid nitrogen.
