How do I open the colored light safe?
1 of 7: If you start fiddling with the dial, you find that numbers between 400 and 700 bring up different colored light beams. Cool!
2 of 7: But pointless, since nothing happens. You need to find the exact setting that will open the safe --
3 of 7: -- which you'll find inside a safe in The Dining Room.
4 of 7: The letter says the number you need is "8 mm under the upper limit of a Buttercups color." What color is a buttercup?
5 of 7: Buttercups are the color of butter: yellow. What is the highest number that gives you yellow? (The colors follow the usual "Roy G. Biv" range, with red the highest and violet the lowest.)
6 of 7: The yellow range is 579 to 592. Do the math, then set the readout to the right number.
