How do I work the dumbwaiter?
1 of 6: You'd think that you'd just be able to reach in and grab the thing in the dumbwaiter when it comes into view, but no. There seems to be a glass panel over the compartment that won't lift until it comes exactly to this level.
2 of 6: If you mess with the switch, you'll see that the up button sends it up 5 levels, and the down switch sends it down 7. There are 16 levels; the compartment starts at 5, and you want to get to 12. Can you do the math here?
3 of 6: There are many ways to get where you need to be, but here's what I came up with:
4 of 6: Up - up - down - down. This puts you at 1, the very bottom.
5 of 6: Up - up - up. This puts you at 16, the very top.
