How do I solve the puzzle with the >> signs?
1 of 7: Your final goal is to push the red button, which is covered with a glass panel at the moment, so you can't just push it. Looking at the panel, what would you guess is the mechanism that reveals the red button?
2 of 7: Push a button at random, and you'll find that it goes down readily enough. But almost any other button you push after that will pop back up; the only one that stays down is --
3 of 7: -- the button in the direction indicated by the mark on the button you pushed. For example, if you pushed a button with <<< on it, the next button you need to push is three buttons to the left. See?
4 of 7: The red button will be exposed when all the other buttons on the keypad are down. You can start from the red button and move backward, if you like, but that's a bit tickly, since you're not always sure what direction to go in next.
5 of 7: Want a bigger hint? Start with --
6 of 7: -- the third button in the second row, then just follow the directions on the buttons. This will eventually unveil the red button so you can push it.
