Safecracker Hints
How do I use the hint to open the safe?
1 of 10: Label the pictures on the jester safe as follows: the apple A, the banana B, and the pear C. It doesn't matter if you use the pictures on the left or the right, both sides do the same thing.
2 of 10: Label the Y's on the flower safe diagram. Each row of three Y's and upside down Y's, should be labeled, from left to right: A, B, and C.
3 of 10: For each set of three Y's, make note of which one is different. If all the Y's in a line are facing the same way, ignore that line.
4 of 10: The Y that is different will tell us which picture to click on, on the jester safe. For example, if the first Y is different (A), we would click on the picture of the apple (A).
5 of 10: In the top line of Y's, the one that is facing a different way is the second one (B). But, the arrow under the Jester's head is already pointing to the banana picture (B). So, skip the first line of Y's, and go on to the second line.
6 of 10: In the second line, the Y that is different is the third one (C); so, click on the pear (C).
7 of 10: Continue down the rows of Y's, entering each code, until the jester safe opens.
8 of 10: You won't need to do all the rows of Y's to complete this safe.
9 of 10: The combination is: C, A, C, B, A, C, A, C, B, C.
10 of 10: This could also be written: pear, apple, pear, banana, apple, pear, apple, pear, banana, pear.
