I keep dying before I get out!

  • 1 of 10: This is a desperate situation.
  • 2 of 10: Did you ever see the Chaplin movie The Gold Rush?
  • 3 of 10: When he and his buddy are starving in the Yukon, Chaplin eats his shoes.
  • 4 of 10: Leather is actually edible as long as it hasn't been tanned or cured (which makes it poisonous, so don't try this at home). It's just cow skin, after all, and people eat pig skin quite happily.
  • 5 of 10: There are abandoned leather sandals all over the place, next to all the dead bodies.
  • 6 of 10: When your health starts to get low, go into inventory, click on the Spendius icon, and use a sandal on yourself.
  • 7 of 10: There's also two more edible things here, one in the open and one in the tunnel.
  • 8 of 10: The one in the open is a single remaining edible cactus, near the bees.
  • 9 of 10: The one in the tunnel is a dead rat. It's lying on the stairs up to the red eye room.
  • 10 of 10: Even with all this food lying around, you might have trouble if you don't do things in the most time-saving way possible. You might have to die once or twice to discover it.
