What do you mean, "Season 1"?
The way Telltale is working this game is that instead of making one massive lengthy expensive game, they made six smaller more frequent games called episodes, which were later packaged together as "Season 1." Clearly they hope to make more seasons -- assuming Season 1 sells well, that is.
