How do I get past the guard at the door?
1 of 8: Superball, the Secret Service guy, is way too focused on keeping you out. You're not going to be able to convince him to let you in.
2 of 8: So you're going to have to find a way to distract him. What might make him leave his post?
3 of 8: If you talk to him, he says he's also doing a bunch of other jobs, including (improbably) receptionist.
4 of 8: A receptionist does two things: greets people at the door, and answers the phone.
5 of 8: And there's a phone, in that little cubbyhole to the right of the door, situated so that a person using it has his or her back to the door. How handy!
6 of 8: Look at the phone to learn the number. (Sam will remember it for you, so you don't have to write it down when he reads it.) Now go back to your office and use the phone there to call "The White House" and talk to our friend here.
7 of 8: Once you have him on the phone, you need to keep him on the phone long enough to let you get back to the White House and get inside unmolested.
8 of 8: So when Superball answers the phone, ask him to hold the phone. You can now go back to the White House and waltz merrily in the front door, and you'll never be challenged again.
