Family Values
1 of 10: In Lincoln's general speech, he makes a point of touting himself as a symbol of "family values." That means all you have to do to knock him off his high horse is to make it look like he's fooled around with someone other than Mary Todd Lincoln.
2 of 10: You'll need some help from a single woman, preferably one who's desperate enough to date a man five or six times her height and made of marble.
3 of 10: Like how about Sybil? If you talk to her about her dating service, you quickly discover that she's the only person she knows who REALLY needs a date. And she says her ideal man is a tall, older man with a good career. Perfect!
4 of 10: But if you try to talk to Sybil about Lincoln, you'll find you don't have an option to do that. In order to get her thinking about Lincoln, you'll need to hand her a written description of the man. You can find such an item at the White House, on the platform where Lincoln is standing; snag one of his flyers and give it to Sybil.
5 of 10: She's hooked, but she says she wants him to call her. Which he absolutely won't, partly out of faithfulness to his wife (who's been dead for 120+ years), and partly because he couldn't possibly fit in the phone booth. So you're going to have to fake it somehow.
6 of 10: There's no way either Sam or Max are going to sound anything like Lincoln. What a shame you don't have a tape recorder!
7 of 10: But you have something just as good in your inventory, left over from the last game: the bug (AKA the "organic listening device").
8 of 10: Use the bug on Lincoln to get him to go through his prepared statement again. There are lots of good phrases in there that can be twisted out of context to apply to -- oh, almost anything.
9 of 10: When Lincoln is done speaking, pick up the bug off the podium and go back to your office. Use the bug on the phone to call Sybil. Select from among the bug's recordings of Lincoln's sentences to make a date with Sybil at the White House. The exact phrases to use are:
