Can I get hints by talking to Max?
1 of 3: Yes, sort of.
2 of 3: If you talk to Max when you're stuck with a problem, he'll usually say something that only technically qualifies as a hint -- that is, it's cryptic, baffling, and only marginally connected to the problem. In fact, it's usually the kind of thing that really only makes sense when you already know the answer to the problem.
3 of 3: The exception to this is in Episode 6: Bright Side of the Moon, when Max's hints get a lot more clear (though they're still pretty cryptic).
