The volcano is exploding! How do I save the world?

  • 1 of 12: How do I get this to happen?
    There's a switch and a button here. Do they help?
  • 2 of 12: No, they don't. Blast! Get back in the pod and go back down to the ground, then back up top. (It goes a lot faster this time, thankfully.)
  • 3 of 12: Outside, you can see the red triangle floating free again and the volcano, now bent at a 45-degree angle, about to go off. Aiiee!
  • 4 of 12: You can't really stop the volcano, actually. But it's not the volcano that's the problem, it's the lava. If you could just divert the lava, that would do the trick. How, though?
  • 5 of 12: If only the triangle would stop in front of the volcano! How did you stop the triangle before?
  • 6 of 12: You threw a red octagon into it. But there are no stop signs here, and you can't get back to the neighborhood. Could you make a red octagon?
  • 7 of 12: Go back into the cave and go to the far right. See the shiny little disk on the ground? It's Mr. Spatula's medallion.
  • 8 of 12: It's the right shape, but the wrong color. But there's a large puddle of the right color on the ground right next to it.
  • 9 of 12: Dip the medallion into the red slime, then go back up and use it on the triangle --
  • 10 of 12: -- only to discover that you can't reach it. Argh! Now what?
  • 11 of 12: Did you notice the tiny golden gong right next to the volcano?
  • 12 of 12: Use your gun to shoot that gong and turn on the triangle next to the volcano, then turn on the silver triangle to the left of the Fountain of Youth (the only one Sam can reach). Use the red octagon on that triangle, and voila!
