Sam & Max: Season 2 Hints

Bosco and the DeSoto

  • 1 of 10: Bosco's Hell and the one with the DeSoto in it are closely related. So check in with Bosco and the DeSoto, to see if you can find a way to release both of them at once.
  • 2 of 10: Bosco is in a classic nightmare situation: naked on stage while people watch him. If you talk to the mariachi, he says it's hypnotic, like watching a car wreck.
  • 3 of 10: Meanwhile, the DeSoto is miserable (well, as miserable as a car can be, that is) because it's forced to go slow, really slow. Rats!
  • 4 of 10: Did you notice that while you're in the DeSoto's diorama, you can see Bosco's diorama above it? The two are physically connected -- that is, Bosco's floor is the DeSoto's sky.
  • 5 of 10: Did you talk to the C.O.P.S. when you were up top? If not, this might be a good time to check in with them.
  • 6 of 10: They tell you that a tank of nitrous oxide will give your car a wicked burst of power, but they don't have one. You'll need to find one yourself.
  • 7 of 10: Nitrous oxide is also known as laughing gas, and a lot of dentists use it when they do dental work. Have you seen a dental chair anywhere around?
  • 8 of 10: There's one in Bosco's Hell, remember? After he gets done with his one-act play, he's due for a root canal. Man, somebody really hates this guy.
  • 9 of 10: Get the nitro tank from next to the dentist's chair in Bosco's diorama. While standing outside the dioramas, use the tank on the DeSoto diorama to install it.
  • 10 of 10: Now go back into the DeSoto diorama, click on the nitro icon, and aim for a ramp. Whee!
