Sam & Max: Season 2 Hints
Stinky
of 15: This one is going to be more complicated than the others. The basic situation here is that Stinky is stuck on a cooking show with a demon that looks like his granddaughter, and he has to watch her being adored by the ghosts of all the rats who were in the robot casino when you used it to get the token. Oh cruel fate!
of 15: You've got to make the show fail somehow. But how? The rat ghosts are enthralled by whatever she does --
of 15: -- but Hugh Bliss is less so, since the rats on the left don't seem able to express their appreciation without cursing. In fact, Hugh threatens to cancel the show if the bad language continues.
of 15: Remember Timmy Two-Teeth, Jimmy's little boy with terminal Tourette's syndrome? He'd be a godsend here -- every other word he says is bleepable. But the only way for him to get here --
of 15: -- is to die, and be bad enough to be sent to Hell. Have you been to Pimplecar in the neighborhood in this episode yet?
of 15: Timmy is dying, poor little tyke. But if you notice, his file is light; he's clearly going to heaven, not Hell. How can we change that?
of 15: He's too sick to do anything bad, but maybe you can make his file look really bad.
of 15: Did you notice that when you left Stinky's Hell, Harry left the filing cabinet open? Go back and see if you can find a file from a really bad person.
of 15: Oh, perfect -- Jimmy's been a gangster and a thief and all kinds of lowlife scum. But if you try to trade it with Timmy's file --
of 15: -- Harry stops you. We need to seriously distract him for a while. What is there around the neighborhood that might occupy him for a while?
of 15: When someone dies, he appears on the scene and sends them on their way. Look for someone who wants to be killed and whose moral status might cause some confusion.
of 15: Have you been in Sybil's yet?
of 15: That poor monster is already in Hell, being repeatedly asked by the woman he loves to help plan her wedding to someone else. (What a lousy therapist Sybil must have been.) If you talk to him a couple times, he asks you to kill him, so let's help him out.
of 15: Take out your gun and shoot the poor guy. When Harry shows up, leave and go back to Pimplecar, where you can now trade files and send poor Timmy to the bad place. (But don't worry; everything will work out in the end.)
of 15: Now go back to Hell and reenter Stinky's Hell. Timmy is standing with the crowd of rats at the left; talk to him about the show, and it's a wrap, folks.
