Sam & Max: Season 3 Hints

How do I destroy the tapestry?

  • 1 of 8: Don't forget that once you reanimate Max's body, you have access to the Toys of Power again.
  • 2 of 8: Use Future Vision on the tapestry, and Sam says --
  • 3 of 8: -- "Oh, the subhumanity!" If you're over, say, 35 years old, or maybe just knowledgeable about the significant events of the last century, you might recognize this as a parody of a phrase uttered by a radio announcer covering a disaster.
  • 4 of 8: When the airship called the Hindenburg crashed in 1937, the reporter who was covering it yelled out, "Oh, the humanity!" (You can see a clip of the newsreel footage with the radio reporter's commentary added at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F54rqDh2mWA, if you're unfamiliar with the event.)
  • 5 of 8: There's a picture of the Hindenburg in the museum, on the upper floor at the right. It's part of an upcoming exhibit called "A Brief History of Bad Ideas in Transportation." You might have figured out where we're going with this.
  • 6 of 8: Yes, that's right, we're going to reenact the crash of the Hindenburg. Use the Rhinoplasty on the Hindenburg poster, then have Sammun Mak turn into it. Man, that looks like fun.
  • 7 of 8: Now we just need to make him explode when he's flying by the tapestry. What have you got in your inventory that can fling flaming death 20 feet away?
  • 8 of 8: Pull out Sam's mostly useless gun and shoot the flying Sammun Mak when he floats in front of the tapestry.
