Do I need to take the museum's audio tour?
1 of 4: You don't have to do the whole thing and walk around to all the exhibits, no. But you'll want to play through the recorded commentary just once for later.
2 of 4: Pick up an earpiece from the display at the right of the ape minion, then click on the remote to go through the recordings.
3 of 4: On the other hand, if you want to take the entire tour, feel free. It's pretty funny, plus it helps orient you to the museum.
4 of 4: And do take the time to look at all the exhibits and signs not included in the tour. Be on the lookout for a particularly subtle political zinger in the main room, by the bye.
