Sam & Max: Season 3 Hints
How do I win a bet against the rats?
1 of 5: What do you mean, how? You can see the future, remember? Betting isn't so much of a challenge when you're clairvoyant.
2 of 5: However, there's a catch. Using Future Vision on the radio produces a vision that stops before the finishing move is announced. Using Future Vision on the rats is more useful, but you'll still have to do some work.
3 of 5: You'll see the rats making comments on their losing bets, which will tell you some of the moves and types of moves that didn't win. It'll be up to you to figure out which move Skunkape actually used using the process of elimination.
4 of 5: For example, one rat might say that Skunkape used his hands, another that he didn't use a gorilla move, and the third that he didn't use the sucker punch. The first comment eliminates the Simian Scissor Kick, the Gorilla Thigh Squeeze, and the Great Ape Leg Sweep, since those are all leg moves. The second comment eliminates the Gorilla Girly Slap, and the third eliminates the Simian Sucker Punch. That leaves the Ape Kidney Punch, so that must be the one that will win the bet.
5 of 5: You'll have to do this one on your own, since Skunkape uses a different finishing move every time. Just make sure you have a pencil nearby when you do the Future Vision thing so you can write down the rats' comments.
