How do I rescue Sameth and Maximus?
1 of 10: First, we need some room to think. As Maximus, select "stall for time" to leave the dialogue tree.
2 of 10: Now what? We don't have a lot to work with here. If only Maximus still had a toy or two!
3 of 10: This is especially frustrating because they're all floating just out of his reach. Maybe Sameth can help? He may be suspended over a tank of flesh-eating ants, but at least he still has the use of his arms and access to his inventory.
4 of 10: Sameth still has the newspaper in inventory. Grab that and use it on the nearby torch --
5 of 10: -- and then use the flaming newspaper on the rope holding up the moon. This knocks the Dummy onto the Sphunx's tongue.
6 of 10: Remember the rite we used to solve the riddle of the Sphunx? If you do part of the rite but not all of it, she sneezes.
7 of 10: Put cookies into the Sphunx's nostrils, and she'll sneeze out the Dummy so Maximus can catch it.
8 of 10: That's all Sameth can do. Return to Maximus by clicking on him (the actual him on stage, that is, rather than on the Max icon), and let's see what trickiness he can come up with.
9 of 10: Select "Trick Papierwaite" to change places with the would-be Yog Soggoth summoner. Let's help him do that thing for himself, shall we?
10 of 10: Use the Dummy on Papierwaite, and wonder what it is you just did ...
