Sam & Max: Season 3 Hints
That was a lot of plot. Can you summarize?
It was a lot of stuff, yes. Here are the main points as I understood them:
-- Dr. Norrington is Yog-Soggoth, Elder Fiend of the Dark Dimensions, also called an Elder God on occasion.
-- He currently exists as an extrusion from Papierwaite's chest, presumably flattenable when needed.
-- He and other fiends from the Dark Dimensions ruled "this dimension" for centuries until the molemen evolved; they're immune to the Dark Dimension powers and expelled them using something called the Cthonic Destroyer.
-- Yog Soggoth came back to this dimension when Papierwaite tried to summon him at the end of episode 302; a small portion of him became fused with Papierwaite as a result, and he's kept the two of them alive while they try to destroy the Toy Box and send Yog Soggoth home.
-- The Toy Box was created to amuse Yog Soggoth's grandson Junior. It was lost when the elder gods were banished by the molemen.
-- The clones, who were not created or controlled by Yog Soggoth, have been commanded to gather all the Toys of Power. That might destroy the universe.
-- The tentacles (or Cilia of Torment) can only be summoned by someone from the Dark Dimension. To get rid of them, you need the Cthonic Destroyer.
