How do I get the Cthonic Destroyer?
1 of 13: It's in the Dark Dimensions, in the Hidden Realm of Skittering Ingestion, as shown on the parchment Norrington/Papierwaite gave you. You need to get it from there.
3 of 13: Now that Momma Bosco is back in her lab, she can answer questions about her equipment. She doesn't have a cthonic destroyer, but she does have something that will gain you access to other dimensions.
4 of 13: You might not remember, but back in Episode 301: The Penal Zone, Momma B told you that that's exactly what the dimensional destabilizer does: allows people to go from one dimension to another.
5 of 13: Once she's in the lab, click on the Dimensional Destabilizer. This will gain you access to other dimensions, but there are apparently a lot of them; you're going to have to do some exploring to figure out what settings to use to get the dimension you want.
6 of 13: The parchment shows the characteristics of the dimension you need --
7 of 13: -- insects, giggling, a flash of light, and a future of being swallowed by a beast. The best way to tackle this is to change one dial at a time and see what changes.
8 of 13: So if you use the DD without changing any of the dials (they're all set to 3), when Sam comes back, he's thinking about badgers and giggling, there's a loud noise, and Future Vision shows him being swallowed by a giant Max. If you turn the yellow dial to 1 --
9 of 13: -- everything is the same, except Sam's future is now a replay of the end of Romeo and Juliet. So the correct setting for the yellow dial is 3. See how it works?
10 of 13: In general, the green dial covers the inhabitants of the dimension; the blue dial governs a special effect; the red dial shows the dimension's emotional impact; and the yellow dial changes the visitor's future.
11 of 13: The settings you need are --
12 of 13: -- green 1, blue 2, red 3, yellow 3.
13 of 13: The Cthonic Destroyer is now a robot in Max's inventory. Use it on anything from the DD -- those tentacles in the cloning lab, for example.
