How do I get more short-term memories?
1 of 5: It won't help to remind Max of the good times. For one thing, you can't talk to him. What you need to do is walk him around the city and see what you can find that triggers memories.
2 of 5: Click on the Max icon and stomp around city looking for hotspots. When you see the subtitle, "Remember X," click on it to see what you get. Max doesn't have memories for every place you can click on, but click on them all anyway just in case.
3 of 5: And don't confine yourself to buildings. Keep an eye out for moving objects too.
