The Secrets of Atlantis Hints
General Tips
1 of 5: It's very important to always carefully scan each area with the mouse cursor. Some exits and interactive items can be hard to find, especially in dim areas.
2 of 5: Some items won't be interactive the first time you enter an area, but will instead become interactive later on, after you've done something else or learned more about the item in conversation. For instance, there's a spot in the game where you can't move an item aside to reveal a hidden key until someone tells you that the key is hidden under that item.
3 of 5: This brings up the importance of always talking to everyone you can about every topic they have. Also, return to people you've already talked to after you've done some other stuff to see if they have anything new to say. You can frequently get stuck if you forget to do this.
4 of 5: If you're having to go through someone's conversation topics again, and you know what they're going to say, you can use the SPACEBAR right after you click on a topic to skip it and have it treated as if it were covered. This is only useful if you're replaying part of the game for some reason.
5 of 5: There are many opportunities to screw up and/or die in the game, but you needn't worry too much about it. Whenever you lose the game, you get reset back to a point that's a bit before whatever action caused the problem. You'll only need to save your game when you're quitting for awhile, and when you're about to start on a puzzle that doesn't have a reset mechanism.
