The Secrets of Atlantis Hints
How can I fix up the big bas-relief picture of a dragon?
of 20: Examine it to see what's wrong with it.
of 20: It looks like four colored stones are missing from the picture. You'll have to find replacements.
of 20: If you exit the temple entry area and look down, you'll find a pile of stones that are interactive.
of 20: Click on the pile (and right-click to put stones away) until you've taken the limit of four stones. Just the number you need!
of 20: Of course, these stones haven't been specially cut to fit the dragon picture's holes, so you'll need to do that yourself.
of 20: There's a stonecutter who has a house in the village where you can find all you need to do that.
of 20: It's the locked house with the blue awning that's along the left side of the village. There's a workbench with a measurement grid carved on it to the right of the door.
of 20: You can put one of your uncut stones on the workbench, but you won't be able to cut it down to size until you get the stonecutter's tools, which are locked inside his house.
of 20: After you get your four measurements, go back to the stonecutter's workbench and cut your four stones to fit the measurements, using the grid on the workbench to see how big the stone on it currently is.
of 20: When you think you've got your stones cut properly, return to the dragon picture and try putting the stones into the slots they're supposed to fit in. If you cut them all correctly, they'll all fit.
of 20: However, they'll still look awful because they haven't been painted yet.
of 20: The picture will look much better after the stones are all painted the correct color, but there's still something missing.
of 20: Examine the head of the dragon figure carefully.
of 20: What do you suppose that large indentation in the head is for?
of 20: Checking your inventory, you'll see that your bronze medallion looks to be about the right shape to fit into the indentation.
of 20: Use your medallion on the dragon's "eye" to finally complete the picture. You'll even get a neat Atlantean stone from the pool below the statue as a prize for a job well done!
