The Secrets of Atlantis Hints

How can I stop Elliot from taking control of the ark and its secrets?

  • 1 of 10: He's at a control panel that's way out of your reach, so try to find another one.
  • 2 of 10: Go forward and across the rope bridge that leads onto the ark.
  • 3 of 10: Once on board, move to the right to find yourself in front of a big control panel.
  • 4 of 10: Notice the familiar tear-drop-shaped indentation in the piece that sticks up above the main panel.
  • 5 of 10: Use your Atlantean crystal on the indentation to activate the panel.
  • 6 of 10: You can now click on any of the white six-sided spaces on the board to make it your color (blue). Every time you do that, Elliot will take a turn and make one of the spaces red.
  • 7 of 10: Your goal is to make a blue path that connects the symbol at the top right of the control board with the one at the bottom left. Elliot's goal is to block you from doing this.
  • 8 of 10: You don't have to start at one symbol and make your path straight to the other symbol -- you can click around in different locations as long as you end up with a blue path connecting the two symbols.
  • 9 of 10: Elliot's moves are random, and he very often makes it impossible to win, so it's best to save your game right after using the Atlantean crystal to activate the board. That way, you can restore it and try again if you fail. (If you wait and let the game reset you, you'll have to board the ark and activate the control panel all over again.)
  • 10 of 10: Keep trying to make a straight (or mostly straight) path between the two symbols, and you should eventually be able to make it. When you do, watch the entire ending cut-scene so you won't ever have to do this horrid puzzle again.
