The Secrets of Atlantis Hints

How can I get into Lansky's office?

  • 1 of 14: His office door is locked, so you'll have to break in somehow.
  • 2 of 14: In order to avoid causing a ruckus, you'll have to get the key or sneakily pick the lock.
  • 3 of 14: There's no key available, so look around for an item that can be used to pick locks.
  • 4 of 14: There aren't any readily available, so you'll apparently need to find a "hidden" object.
  • 5 of 14: Among the many lockpicking clichés is the ever-handy hairpin.
  • 6 of 14: There are several women working on the floors that you have access to. Maybe you can get a hairpin from one of them.
  • 7 of 14: Talk to all of them to see if any of them have anything to say about hair.
  • 8 of 14: Try the two women who are working in offices on the 18th floor.
  • 9 of 14: The one you talked to earlier about the elevator sabotage won't have anything hairy to say, but the other woman (Ellen O'Connor) will.
  • 10 of 14: When you talk to Ellen about her supervisor, Ms. Hatchet, you'll learn that she's very strict on everyone about such things as hairstyle and fashion.
  • 11 of 14: Your character tells Ellen that she'd look even better if she let her hair down, but she won't do it yet.
  • 12 of 14: Notice that she removed a hairpin in order to let her hair down.
  • 13 of 14: She put the hairpin on her desk to the right of the name plate, and she won't care if you take it.
  • 14 of 14: So grab it and go use it on Lansky's office door to open it up.
