1 of 5: Look on your map for the isolated plain northwest of Piniro.
2 of 5: You must cross the small gap from the north to the south to get there.
3 of 5: Did you bring any grenades? (Save your game at this point!)
4 of 5: Throw a grenade behind the tree to make a bridge.
5 of 5: If you stand on the western edge, the tree won't squash you as it falls.
