Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
What other way is there?
of 14: While the guard and technician are talking next to the elevator, sneak over and cut the material that's hanging near the door to the balcony -- it's covering the entrance to the room with the swinging lightbulb.
of 14: One of them will probably see something suspicious down your way, so crouch-run through the slit in the material as soon as you can and enter the crawl space that's high up on the wall to the left.
of 14: Exit the crawl space at the other end and sneak through the kitchen over to the right and into a room where a guard is napping in a chair next to a computer.
of 14: Sneak up on the guy and grab him, then interrogate him somewhere out of sight of the door you just came in through. (It's important to interrogate this guy if you haven't interrogated anyone in the penthouse yet so that you can find out whom the mercs are working for.)
of 14: Dump the guy somewhere out of sight of the kitchen, then head out the nearby locked door that leads outside.
of 14: BONUS: Before you go outside, hack the computer the guy was napping next to in order to fulfill a bonus objective.
of 14: Once you're outside, you'll encounter the first of six infrared security cameras.
of 14: You'll need to OCP the camera before you run up the nearby stairs. Once you're at the top of the stairs, the camera can't spot you.
of 14: Go through the door with the light over it, then use the nearby light switch to get the nearby guard to get up to turn the lights back on. When he does, sneak around the perimeter of his room to reach the door to the patio.
of 14: When you get to the glass door leading onto the patio, wait for the two guards to stop talking. (If the guards aren't talking when you arrive, wait for one of them to come out of the penthouse and approach the other.)
of 14: The wait for one of them to enter the penthouse through another glass door that's across the patio from you.
of 14: Give him some time to move away from the glass door (which he can see you through), then sneak out onto the patio and cross to the other door when the infrared camera can't see you.
of 14: However, instead of going in through the glass door, find the crawl space in the nearby corner and use it to get inside. That way the guard inside couldn't possibly spot you!
of 14: TIP: If you want to tap the nearby infrared camera, use the switch that's just to the right of the glass door that leads inside to turn out the lights, then quickly go tap the camera. Hopefully you can make it to the crawl space before the patio guard goes to turn the lights back on. (If not, wait in the darkness near the camera's wire until the guard goes back to where he was, then make a quick run to the crawl space.)
