Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
I know where Dvorak is, but how can I get there?
of 10: The first thing to do is locate the formerly magnetically locked door that Ms. Grim mentioned when you accessed the computer to learn about Dvorak.
of 10: Be careful after you go through that door! There's a guard patrolling around with a flashlight, plus two snipers watching from high-up windows on the wall over to the right.
of 10: The door you want to go through next is beneath the light you can see to the left of the sniper windows.
of 10: From next to the door you just came through, shoot out that light with the pistol, then start sneaking over there.
of 10: After the patrolling guard moves away from the door, go through it and then close it.
of 10: ALTERNATIVE: Instead of shooting out the light over the door, find the pipe that's near the door you entered the area through and climb it. Zip across the wire at its top to get to a small caged-in generator area where you can use a switch to turn off all the local lights, making it easy to sneak over to the door you need to go through.
of 10: Approach the next door quietly and switch to thermal vision -- you can easily whistle and door-bash the guard on the other side. (In fact, he may be standing so close that whistling to gain his attention isn't necessary.)
of 10: Straight forward from the door is an open elevator shaft you don't want to fall down, plus passages leading to the left and right.
of 10: The quickest way to get to Dvorak's room is to go left and hack the keypad on the locked door you find (or enter the code that you could have gotten from the computer in the penthouse). The longer way is to head right and sneak through the sniper nest area.
