Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Hints
I get blown up when I go for the grenades!
1 of 7: It's not the grenades that are blowing you up, so look around carefully for something else that can.
2 of 7: You see that little thing stuck on the left doorframe with the blinking light on top of it? That's a wall mine, and it's what's been blowing you up.
3 of 7: To get into the room past it alive, you first have to disable or destroy it.
4 of 7: You could stand way back and shoot it with the pistol, but it's too close to the grenades, and its explosion will set them off, too.
5 of 7: Instead, sneak very carefully up near the mine until you can get the Interaction option of disabling it, then turn off your night vision if you have it on so that you can see what color the blinking light on top of the mine is.
6 of 7: You need to hit the Interaction key when the light is green in order to disable the mine and take it safely.
7 of 7: Then you can go for the grenades on the table. Also, there's a medkit in a small bathroom nearby.
